A beautiful traditional timber chalet set high above Verbier, offering spectacular alpine views, cosy fireplaces, a private sauna and cinema room, with ski-in access for experienced skiers when conditions allow. It has a luxury interior of 337 m² over four levels
Perched high in the pastures above Verbier, Chalet Lion Blanc is a charming alpine retreat combining traditional chalet character with relaxed, comfortable living. Surrounded by sweeping mountain views, the chalet offers a peaceful setting while remaining perfectly placed for enjoying everything Verbier has to offer.
At the heart of the chalet is a welcoming open-plan living and dining area, framed by vaulted timber ceilings and centred around a magnificent open fireplace. Deep, comfortable seating, fur throws and warm alpine touches create an inviting atmosphere, while doors open directly onto the terrace and spectacular mountain panorama beyond.
The adjoining dining area comfortably seats up to ten guests and features its own contemporary fireplace, creating a natural division between the dining space and spacious open-plan kitchen. It is a wonderfully sociable setting for everything from relaxed family meals to long evenings around the table.
Chalet Lion Blanc sleeps up to 14 guests across six en-suite bedrooms, comprising four king bedrooms, a large twin bedroom and a charming bunk room with four built-in beds, ideal for younger guests.
The master suite occupies the entire top floor, creating a private sanctuary with its own fireplace, dressing room and south-facing balcony overlooking the mountains. The en-suite bathroom features both a jacuzzi bath and a rain shower. A small study area on the landing provides a quiet space to work or read, with views down into the living area below.
Three further en-suite bedrooms are located on the floor below, together with a guest WC and the children’s bunk room.
The lower floor is dedicated to relaxation and entertainment, with two additional bedrooms, a private sauna and a cinema and games room. An impressive 80-inch screen with Apple TV, Netflix and Disney+ makes it perfect for cosy movie evenings, while table football and a wet bar provide plenty of après-ski entertainment. A dedicated boot room completes this level.
For experienced skiers, one of Chalet Lion Blanc’s particularly special features is the possibility of skiing back to the chalet from Savoleyres when snow conditions are suitable. The route is not a marked ski run and should only be attempted by advanced skiers who are comfortable with off-piste terrain. On the right day, there is something wonderfully satisfying about finishing your last run and arriving almost directly back at the chalet terrace.
With its traditional alpine character, generous living spaces, private wellness facilities and spectacular mountain setting, Chalet Lion Blanc is an inviting retreat for families and groups looking to experience Verbier in comfort and style.
There is a 38 m² balcony along the front with outdoor fireplace, gas barbecue, dining table and sun loungers and a private balcony to the master suite. There is a Ski room with it’s own entrance off the garage.
